Art adds a lot of variety and pizazz to a home or apartment.
An unlikely place for art is the "powder" room but it's really a good place to display art.
The city scene is from Nicaragua, Central America.
The jungle scene with the toucans and parrot is actually the work of an extremely talented Nicaraguan artist!
The white bird against a blue background just appealed.
There's a colorful little figure of a girl that my local granddaughter created, too.
The mini-art wall is now complete.

In one of my bathrooms I have a painting done by our sister and in the other one a painting done by my son when he was twelve. That's the extent of my bathroom art. Your pieces are adorable and I know you get joy from all the memories.
I like that print of the bird, and blue is always pretty in the home. And your granddaughter's picture is priceless because it's handmade with love and care. I just got one from Francesca myself this Christmas and love it. I don't have a lot of art pieces in my home, only a couple, but I always put them out with the seasons. The Nicaragua city scene is unique and traveling a long way. : )

These are all beautiful pieces of artwork and you really did a great job at placing them on the wall. What a neat idea to hang art in the bathroom. I sure enjoy getting new idea from blogging friends. I can see any of these pictures as being great conversation pieces
There is not a wall space or corner left bare in our home. All rooms and walls are decked out to the hilt. I'm a maximalist for sure. Everyone who visits says it's like walking into a museum or Aladdin's cave.
