February Plans

Here we are, dear blog peeps, in a brand new month!

February is known as the month that celebrates love, with Valentine's Day and all.

What a lovely thing to do and what a great holiday to celebrate!

During many cold, blustery days of winter, being mostly retired, is a great gift.

Staying home, safe and sound, one does not have to traipse through icy sidewalks or drive on slippery roads until they are cleared.

Around here, there is always a cup a fresh ginger tea to enjoy in a favorite Old Country Roses patterned cup.

Also, there is almost always a candle (or two or three or five) burning.

These are faux but look SO much like the real thing.

They are from the company, Luminara.

It's also fun to plan for Valentine's Day.

I love sending (and receiving) Valentine cards.

Also loved is decorating my little apartment with hearts and red, white, and pink everything, all over.

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR PLANS FOR FEBRUARY?

Oh Susan, I love Valentine's Day. Pink and Red, hearts, chocolate, love, what's not to like? You're right, it's nice to not have to BE somewhere when the cold wintery days come. You know, I love your tea cup, and I've mentioned to you that I have a candy dish in the same pattern. It's one of the prettiest collections I've seen. Your ginger tea sounds perfect. The Luminara candles look so real. I will check out the site right now. And that is such a cute white heart with the words, I love you. It looks like a feltie. Enjoyed your delightful post today, Susan.

Hey Susan...You have some really cute Valentine goodies. Your tea cup dishes have always been on my favorite list. My son-in-laws mother has them and I've always admired them. I have not tried the ginger tea. I enjoy drinking hot tea, but as crazy as it sounds, I forget about it. Hot tea is healthy for us. My calendar for February is full, but several of the days are things I'm doing for my niece. The sun is shining bright here today...I'll try to send some your way.
