Oh Christmas Tree (Tea Pot), Oh Christmas Tree...

One of the activities loved most by my grandchildren is having tea parties.

Even the little boys really get into them.

I always make chocolate milk "tea" or hot chocolate.

At Easter time, I have a bunny rabbit set that has brought many dozens of smiles every time we use it.

Well, at the thrift store the other day, guess what treasure found will be part of this year's Christmas?

It's a Christmas tree tea pot!

Oh, it's so adorable and it cost less than $5.

Looking ahead to Christmas, it will look so pretty at a kids' holiday season tea party.

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...

Our Christmas tree, given to me by Patti, a dear friend, many, many years ago, is hard to put together and painstaking to take down.

Every year I swear that the following Christmas, the tree will be replaced.  But it never is.

It's just a truly lovely tree and guess what?

It slowly twirls around and around, spreading sparkling beauty from every angle.

This Christmas season our daughter and her hubs gave us an early Christmas present.

One afternoon, when hubs and I were out, they went up into the attic, brought down the tree and dozens upon dozens of decorations, and set the whole thing up!

It was a fabulous surprise and we remain soooooo grateful.

Christmas Is Coming!

Hello Sweet Blog Peeps:

How exciting it is that Christmas is so near.

                                                                                                                 (Scented mug holder.)

Shown at the top of this post is the gently twirling tree from the living room, given to me several year ago by a dear, long-time friend, Patti.

(Kitchen tree, purchased in Tubac, Arizona, and hanging on kitchen wall.)

The living room tree, shown at the top of this post, is still beautiful and even though it takes a long time to set it up and decorate, I  love it. Still love my friend who gave it, too!

(Dollhouse people hurrying to bring their tree home.)

The tree below is a beacon in the night from our front yard.

May you receive many wonderful blessings today!
