Today's two tea cups romance a favorite flower, the rose!
The first cup is sweet and dainty. It has both pink and yellow roses and rose buds. It's a demitasse cup with a green, gold, and white saucer. The cup has tiny little gold legs. Inside the cup, oh my!, is a tiny little rose, ready to delight with the first sip of tea.
The second cup has beautifully painted pink roses on the cup and saucer. Both are edged in gold. The background is white. It's a simple cup but quite lovely to look at and use.
Many thanks to Martha at www.marthasfavorites.com and Terri (http://artfulaffirmations.blogspot.com/) for sponsoring Tea Cup Tuesday. This is great fun, ladies, and you are both so sweet to host this tea party! Can it really be the ninth week? Wow! Wow! Wow! That's so awesome. There are so many gorgeous cups in the world.
WHAT COLOR ROSES DO YOU PREFER, RED, WHITE, PINK, OR YELLOW?

Both of the tea cups are lovely. I can't decide which one is my favorite - I guess if I had to pick - the first one would be my choice.
Hard to chose though.

I adore lavender and coral colored roses... My mother's fave were yellow, my grandmother's faves were pink... When I got married I ordered (to arrange and make bouquets myself) yellow sweetheart roses and delphiniums... When the flowers arrived there was a bathtub full (literally) of delphiniums(!) and the sweetheart roses were a variety of colors... pink, yellow, coral, red, bicolors... Not exactly what I ordered, but they were gorgeous!
Susan...thank you for visiting me today..I love company. My fav is the one with the little pedestal feet. You don't see them very often...just gorgeous.

That first tea cup and saucer are stunning...love the saucers shape.
My favorite rose color...um..too many to choose. I used to have a climbing rose at my old house that was lavender colored. It was beautiful. I especially like the variegated roses with touches of yellow and orangey-red. Who could not like roses? Well.except the thorns! lol
Nancy, you are so right! Thanks for visiting! Sincerely, Susan
Susan,
Both teacups are lovely, but I love the footed one. Doesn't sipping tea from a pretty cup just divine? My favorite color is yellow, but I love just about every color rose. I do prefer the softer colors over the red rose though.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog. Your tea cups are so pretty - I really like the cup with the tiny gold legs. I have never saw this before. Have a wonderful rest of tthe week.
