Not everyone has the insatiable mania toward dolls that I do. Some people may find reading about dolls downright boring.
Not me. Dolls bring me right back to the absolute happiest days of childhood.
For several years now, I have stopped adding dolls to my very large collection.
Sure enough, an old-fashioned beauty, dressed in a light blue dress with lots of lacy trim, came wrapped in tissue paper in one of the gift bags. She's a knockout.
She has blond curls, blue eyes, and long eyelashes. She wears a very Victorian looking outfit complete with lacy bloomers and little shoes.
Tiny pearls are around her wrists, neck, and other parts of the gorgeous dress.
The name "Amelia" sounds good for this doll, don't you think? It's a kind of old-fashioned name for a Victorian beauty.
This is what she'd look like in a police line-up:
DO YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO HAS A DOLL COLLECTION?

She's a very pretty young lady in blue - love it and she has such beautiful blue eyes. Do you have a doll room? Love, sandie
What a beautiful doll to visit you for a birthday!
Happy birthday! Did I miss it? Did you mention it before? Hard to believe September is almost over. My mom had started a collection for me of dolls from around the world. Not sure if I still have them or not. I think they were Avon, but I could be wrong. I know I had a whole bunch of the lady perfume bottles -- not sure where they are either. Hope your day is great. She is beautiful! My Grandma loved dolls and would make elaborate clothes for them.
hugs, Linda
She is gorgeous! I have known several people, through the years, who collected dolls. My daughter started a small collection when she was young, but only collected a dozen of so, and all were gifts from family. Very special.
And Happy Birthday!
I just can't wait till a little grandchild (girl) comes so you can share your love of Dolls with her. This one is very pretty. Your doll room must be overflowing by now.
