Taking Down "Easter" Decor

Telltale signs of Easter are still around, like the pastel yummies shown above.

For this week, the bright kitchen tablecloth will remain, too.

But, little by little, the decorations are coming down.  Don't you hate to do that----pack away all the darling bunnies and lambie pies?

When I put them in plastic containers up in the attic until next year, I always wonder how things will be. What changes in life will have occurred by next Easter?

Little nuggets of fear pop up in my mind. To think of losing loved ones is the biggest fear.

Oh, I know GOOD things can occur, too. It's best to concentrate on those....like new babies!

One of my sisters made the bunny pillow shown below. Isn't it adorable?

My daughter also packed these bright orange carrots in my Easter basket. They have now been added to the Easter tree which is being dismantled, too.

Thought they made a colorful addition, don't you?

I think I'll leave the pretty heart-shaped bunny table runner on the dining room table for awhile longer.

On Easter Sunday, it looked pretty with Old Country Roses dishes.

WHAT'S ONE THING YOU DO TO KEEP POSITIVE?

I smile as often as possible and act silly.

I look out of doors at all the wonderful gifts God has given us and thank Him for everything.

An attitude of gratitude is the best way to stay positive. I love that bunny table runner. Did someone make it? It's very pretty! Have a wonderful weekend. Tammy
