Wonders All Around Us

This design was on an elevator door!

Last night I was looking through some of my digital photographs. There are hundreds of them.

Taking photos gives me immense joy and sharing them with you compounds it.

Looking through a photographic remembrance of our trip last fall to Colorado, I came across some photos snapped at the Denver Museum of Art.

Now I have no idea if these items are still displayed. After all, it's been seven months since we traveled there.

View from one of the windows.

But I thought I'd like to share them with you anyway.

Looking around inside that museum made  me realize how lucky we are to see art, sculpture and unique creations of every description.

All we have to do is look around.

                           Colorful sand painting under glass!

I especially love seeing things from other cultures.

Each ethnic group is so different and yet, the art produced can appeal to anyone.

We are all part of the human family and that is so comforting.

An artist created the gargantuan sculptures of a mama cow and her calf, shown below.

If these sculptures were real, they'd make a lot of milk!

WHAT IS ONE OBJECT OF WONDER YOU SAW LATELY?

Love that elevator door! Others should consider this and redo those gray or tan vault looking things!

I absolutely LOVE to go to museums of any kind. Last summer I went to the Vatican museum in Vatican City, Italy. I was overcome by the Sistine Chapel there. The whole world should see it...spectacular!

The elephant was exquisite. I'll have to get my sister-in-law to take me to the museum next time I visit Denver. It looks awesome.

Looks like it was a great visit. I love seeing the art, history and culture of different cultures. Even better when you can experience up close and personal. Best wishes, Tammy
