Recently, as I was driving in the countryside, I noticed that someone had put up several American flags all along the sides of the road.
The afternoon sun was on its way down to the horizon. As I drove the car down a hill, I kept seeing flags illuminated by the sun. It was such a beautiful sight.
Another day, stopped for a stop light, this is what I saw outside the car window.
Thank goodness my trusty little Kodak camera usually sits nearby on the car seat.
All I had to do was roll down my window, snap the photo, and then roll up the window again. By then, the light had turned to green.
There are so many beautiful things to see in the summer and God gave us the gift of sight with which to view them. What an immense gift that is.
I looked at these white flowers in the afternoon sunlight and felt amazed at the wonder of it all.
While I love flowers in many different colors, white also makes me happy.
Do you feel the same way?
There are so many beautiful scenes right around us.
All we have to do is look around, observe, and then give thanks to the Creator for all his handiwork.
