God gave us trees, brilliant blue skies, fluffy white clouds, and, for most of us, eyes to see them.
He gave us music, the laughter of children, for some of us, the voices of our beloved soul mates, as well as ears to hear it all.
He gave us sunshine, rain, cool breezes and a loved one's hand in ours.
God gave us tears when our hearts are breaking, comfort, acceptance and peace.
He gave us ice cream cones and the sound of a friend's voice,
Beloved pets and flowers in every color of the rainbow,
Sweet newborn babies that give hope to our world.
Yes, our Heavenly Father gave all of these things to us.
Thank you, dear God.

Well we went to church today and someone was being prayed for that had a knee replacement a year ago - he had an infection in it - has had 4 surgeries. I pray for him - but am so thankful my knee surgery two years ago went sooooooooooooo well! I am blessed.
Besides family I am so thankful for my friends! They hold my hand and mean so much to me in times of stress and sorrow and they rejoice and party with me in times of Joy! Can't ask for more!

Today besides family and friends I'm thankful for anything that God gives me to keep me cool in these searing summer temperatures. The ocean, the lake, the pool, ice water with lemons, ice cream and well ...you get the idea!
