Sunday afternoon and all was well.
But it got even better!
Both church and lunch were over.
Needing to look for a birthday gift in a town about 40 minutes from where we live, I took off with hubs accompanying me.
We found what I was looking for so that was very satisfying.
We were also close to a, guess what? Goodwill Store.
Luckily, hubs was okay with our just "running in and running out." ha!
I was determined to use extreme restraint since one of my goals this year is to DE-CLUTTER our house.
(Miracles do happen, you know.)
Picked up a few gift possibilities, a darling little hand-painted pitcher, and was ready to call it quits when I saw him.
He was the most adorable, chunky little bun bun with a face that made me immediately smile.
What was that whisper on a St. Patrick's Day afternoon?
"Take me home. I'll always make you smile."
"But you have so many bunnies already," my conscience said. "Remember what you said about de-cluttering?"
"Shhhhhh," I said to conscience as I placed bunny underneath a couple other items in my shopping cart."
There was absolutely no reason to announce to the world I was buying another bunny.
After a nice bath, I placed him in the downstairs bathroom next to the Easter egg tree.
See him sitting there on the left?
Whenever I see him, he really does make me smile. It never fails.
He was a St. Patty's Day bonus and I'm sooooo glad I didn't leave him on that lonely shelf at Goodwill.
DO YOU DE-CLUTTER REGULARLY?

What a cute bunny! I would have pushed hose decluttering thoughts to the back of my mind once I saw him, too1
Declutering is an ongoing process around here! I'm still waiting for the day when it looks like that task has been partially accomplished.:-)
Declutter??? My mind does not understand that concept, but it sounds intriguing! That is a precious bun-bun, and I am happy that you have him now residing in your lovely home! Great find, again! :-)
I need a man with a huge truck to come to my garage to declutter ...I think I will get one this summer. I have tons of stuff to dump! You could open a store with your things Susan and make some money at it too! Ha
No I don't de-clutter regularly but I need to.
Reminds me a bit of Thumper--what a cute face. I'm de-cluttering now, in between work, just because I like to keep things neat. Rule of thumb...if you haven't worn it, used it, or seen it for a year, it gets donated! XOXO
Your new Bun is so cute! Yes he makes me smile also. I have been doing some de-cluttering and so far taking more out then I've brought in!
hugs,
Linda
Oh, he is SO cute! I just grinned when I saw his precious face!
And yes --- I declutter constantly! You should have asked me if I throw things away! LOL!

De-clutter - well I have and as soon as it is clean - everyone fills the holes back with stuff. I have so much stuff you wouldn't believe it.
