Easter Gifties from the Heart

Showing generosity, kindness and thoughtfulness is always good but especially so at Easter time.

Linda from the blog Lady Linda surprised the heck out of me by sending a wonderful and totally unexpected package of Easter treats.

There was a gigantic egg wrapped in tissue paper inside the box.

Inside was a tea bag, a chocolate chick and a chocolate bunny in gold wrapping. Mmm mmm mmm

Also, some wooden eggs and a wooden carrot, all on hangers, which I added to the Easter egg tree!

There was also a darling cloth rooster but more on him another day.

There was a blue egg, too, and when I opened it up, out popped the most adorable tiny chick  in a mini-basket that you could ever lay your eyes on.

Then came  a pink egg with yellow braiding all around it.

"Could anything possibly be inside this egg?" I asked myself.

Carefully lifting off the yellow ribbon, I opened up the egg and a darling chick in a small paper dixie cup smiled at me.

Isn't she just the pizazz?

She wears an Easter bonnet, a teeny blue bow and is festooned with colored flowers.

Did you hear my squeals of delight?  They sure were loud!

Linda also put in a sweet Easter card which I added to my card holder.

Gifts such as this one, sent by sweet blog peeps, humble me and make me realize that, despite all the negative stuff there is in the world, there are people who exhibit pure goodness and kindness, too, not to mention generosity.

Many, many thanks to Linda for such a delightful surprise!

Hope you are each having a good week so far.

WHAT IS ONE THING YOU CAN DO TO MAKE SOMEONE HAPPY TODAY?

What a sweet surprise, Susan! A smile costs nothing, nor does verbally expressing thanks to someone for something they've done for you. I have found both to be excellent ways to spread joy!

Well, that was such a lovely gift!!! You are most blessed, Susan, and I'm sure you're done your share of blessing others as well! I don't plan to leave the apartment today, but I expect to post uplifting messages for my Facebook friends, and I HOPE to make my hubby happy with whatever I decide to fix for supper! :-) Have a blessed day!
