Sculptures and Bricks in the Garden

Sculptures and brick walkways add touches of elegance to gardens and yards.

The child-like sculpture shown above brings smiles to the faces  of visitors to the Denver (Colorado) Botanic Gardens.

The round of bricks, plants  and a sundial in the middle are also there.

We spent delightful hours in the gardens, while on vacation, and will be sharing some startling glass art among the plants and flowers, in upcoming posts so stay tuned.

So pretty!

DO YOU USE BRICKS AND/OR SCULPTURES?

I am ashamed to say that our gardens could use much upgrading. No brick or stone in the decor here, nor do we have any statues - only a very small bunny or two.

All the time, bricks are wonderful for edges and paths.

Hello from Spain: I really like the figures of sculpture in the gardens. As I have little girls in my garden I have figures of Mickey Mouse and Snow White. Keep in touch

So lovely! I hope to use both of these things in my new home. :)

Thank you so much for your patience Susan. I have the "My Favorite 5" post scheduled for Friday, Sept. 19th. You are such a blessing to me as this is smack dab in the middle of my move and it will be so nice to share you with my readers.

I LOVE bricks - I think they are so exquisite looking. The front of our house is brink - if we had the money we would have had it done all over.
