Hello sweet blog peeps.
Here it is Monday again.
Time flies by faster than the birdies going south for the winter.
This past summer, you got a peek at some of the colorful bird houses I painted and today is the final glimpse of the little abodes.
Soon they will be taken down for the winter. Otherwise, they will get buried in you-know-what--the chilly white stuff that is a big part of winter around here.
It was such a joy to paint these little houses.
We will have bird feeders up all winter but the colored houses will go undercover.
DO YOU FEED THE BIRDS IN THE WINTER?

Apparently a whole slew of birds thought our bedroom balcony was their very own breakfast buffet yesterday. I counted 15-20 birds out there at one time. And a new one I hadn't seen before which is always fun. Your birdhouses are nice and colorful. Have a good week.
Your bird houses are so cheerful, Susan. Yes, sometimes I feed the birds, but I mostly stare at them in awe - I love bird watching and taking pictures of them.
Have a terrific week, friend.

I do not feed the birds around here but they find enough food on their own. There is always chirping each morning. Your birdhouses are very colorful and I'm sure you enjoyed them all summer long.
Hello from Spain: in winter I do not see birds in my garden. I like many colorful your birdhouses. Very nice. Keep in touch
I leave my one decorative bird house up year 'round. SNOW, bah-humbug. Not ready. Did you see the moon?
We don't feed the birds per say , but my husband planted several areas of our lawn with new grass seed and he says the birds ate most of it!
Very colorful birdhouses, Susan! No feeding of the birds here. They eat from what we grow.:-)
The Chirp House - I love it. No I don't feed the birds over the winter - I should though. I love your bird houses.
These are so cute! They must brighten up your yard and make you smile. I bet you are looking forward to getting them out again next year.:)
