One of the best parts of life is being able to find gifts that you know friends will like.
I'm always on the prowl for items people will enjoy.
One of my dear friends, Christina, collects gold items so when I saw four demitasse cups and saucers from Japan, I knew they were meant for her.
Sure enough, for a recent birthday gift, I gave the set to her and she said she loved them!
They quickly found a place for them on her dining room buffet.
By the way, this is her beloved Collie, Levi, looking over the new cups!

Yes, I do , and when I find something I know they'll love I send it on. Isn't it a great feeling to know you've made someone you care about happy and that the person you care about knows you know them well enough and care about them enough to give them that something special ?

Yes, I do look for things my friends would enjoy. I am on the hunt today in fact. I saw that exact set of cups this week at my favorite Goodwill store. You can certainly find some bargains there.
Yes I do Susan. I have a lot of friends who love vintage things. Jim and I go to a lot of estate sales and I find so many really pretty things. We often go on 1/2 price day, so that makes it all more fun.

Well when I go somewhere and see items I think my friends would like - I think of my friends and I do wish I could get them for them. Like the gold cups and I bet she loved them.
Most of my friends have begun to give their collections away! Great that your friend was able to display your gift immediately!
I find things all the time for friends! It's fun!
The gold cups are so lovely, Susan. That's nice that you bought them for your friend, and I'm sure she will appreciate them. I have been seeing a lot of gold out there lately, it's really in right now.
