Slow Down and Enjoy Each Moment

Sometimes, we need to just slow down, like this colorful little turtle, carrying mushrooms on his back.

Spotted him while strolling the main, shop-lined street in Rockport, Massachusetts.

Today really does call for slowing down.

Yesterday, a 24 hour flu gripped me with fierce claws.

It was not fun.

Today, life is back and keeping a slower pace is definitely in order.

IS IT HARD F0R YOU TO SLOW DOWN?

I hope you are feeling better! These summer illnesses are not fun. I do try to slow down and take some time for me. Otherwise I'm so burned out. The turtle made me smile. Hugs!

Since I've retired every day is a day to slow down for me. I'm not in a rush every morning anymore. I can stay in bed as long as I want etc. etc. etc. It's wonderful.

Cute turtle...
Glad the flu was short-lived...
While "slow" is a relative term, I think I'm safe in saying I have no trouble slowing down...

Those belly issues are no fun, but that turtle is!

I'm sorry you had the flu, Susan, that's awful. No, it's not hard for me to slow down. It is better for me to go at a slower pace, and when hectic days come around, I get frazzled. Don't like rushing and chaos at all. : ) (but I do go full speed ahead when I have to get errands done and such to get them out of the way).

I hope you feel better, dear friend.
