To Everything There Is a Season

The intense green beauty of early autumn woods and roadsides is about to change.

Soon, the leaves on trees in New England will turn to deep red, orange and yellow.

They will be quite breathtaking.

Then, in winter, the trees will be bowed down with crystal ice and snow.

Seasonal changes, like life, itself, are welcome.

Each has its beauty and purpose.

Today, may you be blessed no matter what season you are in.

Remember that each day is a gift that may not be given tomorrow.

We must treasure each blessing, each moment.

Think of others, especially all those poor souls suffering in Puerto Rico and other Caribbean Islands, as well as right here in the United States, in Texas.

We have so much to be grateful for.

Our blessings number a million times more than the leaves shown in the photo above.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SEASON AND WHY?

Each season has it's special qualities. Fall has the amazing colors of changing leaves, golden light and cooler days and nights. Ready for all of that to happen!

Fall is my favorite season, and yes, we do have so much to be thankful for. Seems the color will not be vibrant here.

Fall is my FAVORITE season - I miss that red in the first picture - we don't get too many of those down here.

I love fall too and seeing your photos makes me even more excited. It has been very hot here but this weekend is to have a change to cooler temps. I sure hope so!

I can't wait to see Autumn around your neck of the woods, Susan. It's already starting to look amazing with the oranges and reds and golds. And I really like that first picture of the leaf with the stone. It's very cool.

love, ~Sheri
