The Beauty of a Fall Arrangement

One of the best $8 purchases I made at a yard sale last summer was a big, bursting-with-color arrangement of fall flowers.

Even the metal container in which they were arranged was attractive.

Come fall, the bouquet fit in perfectly on the front hall table vignette.

Flanked by old-fashioned amber glass lamps, the whole scenario has been a welcome sight for many weeks.

The flowers and lamps will stay on the table until right after Thanksgiving.

Then, they will be whisked up to attic storage to make way for, you guessed it, the magical Christmas holidays!

WHAT IS ONE THING FOR WHICH YOU ARE MOST GRATEFUL THIS THANKSGIVING?

Well a miracle occurred in my life this past year. My son and his family who lived two hours north of me have moved to HIS hometown. Now he will be one mile from me with the purchase of his new home...so thankful, so grateful and so happy my grandsons will be close to me.

Oooo, that picture is so pretty with the Fall arrangement and the amber glass lamp. The way the light shines on the picture is so lovely. I really like those old lamps, and don't see them around any more.

love, ~Sheri
