The Curls Did It....

Remember Shirley Temple as a child?

She was so adorable.

Her head was covered with golden pin curls.

She sang. She danced.  She found her way into the hearts of millions of people.

Fast forward to today and a way-too-many doll collection.

Despite determination to refrain from buying even one more dolly, I buckled.

She wore an a darling blue dress with white lacy trim.

She was only about seven inches tall, so wouldn't take up much room.

She had long curls, similar in style to Shirley Temple as a kid.

She came home with me and she's adorable.

She cost less than $3.00 in Goodwill.

The curls did it.

Susan, is that a madame Alexander doll? She is worth money if so. You do find the cutest!

Yes I still see her movies on the old movie channel. Loved watching her and there has been no one to match her since. Good find for you ...the doll is adorable.

Oh Yes, I remember Shirley Temple. Her adorable curls and sweet smile made people smile. Your new doll will be a nice reminder of her, and only $3.00, what a good deal.

Okay - now I loved Shirley Temple - I loved all her movies - I loved her personally - I think she was a great woman. I had a Shirley Temple doll myself.
