Little Hands Can Milk This Cow

Imagine being three years old and getting the chance of a lifetime to milk a cow!

There is one little three-year-old I know who just about flew across a room to greet the cow.

The little boy's eyes were as big as saucers as he was shown where the cow's udder was and how to squeeze the teats.

Beneath, a bucket filled with a big "sponge" soaked up the "milk" that came out. (Actually it was water!)

The little fella is always totally mesmerized by anything farm-oriented so meeting the big moo cow and milking her was a dream-come-true for him.

All of this took place at the absolutely darling Amelia Park Children's Museum in Westfield, Massachusetts.

It's a great place to take kids!

HAVE YOU EVER MILKED A COW?

Yes I have milked a cow...a real one . My Kindergarten class and I went to a nearby farm years ago and one of the activities the teachers and kids had was to milk a cow...another to hold a baby chick, another to feed the goats, another to have a hay ride. It was a fun filled day for all.
