Through the Eyes of Children

It's wonderful viewing the world through the eyes of innocent children.

They squeeze joy out of the most insignificant things.

Little visitors to our house recently decorated the glass panes on the back door in the kitchen.

They had a splendid time putting up stick-on decorations for Easter.

Never feel badly about acting childish.

It's the best way to feel sheer happiness and love of living in your heart!

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT CHILDREN?

What fun the children had placing the stick-on decorations on your back door. I like the first one with the bunny and tree. It looks just like something a child would do.....hiding an egg high up in the tree. Children are God's special little people. There really are no words to describe how precious they are.

I like just about everything children have to offer. Was an elementary teacher for over forty years until I retired. You have to love children in order to be able to teach them for so many years.

We take so much for granted. Don't we? Our eyes dull and we see things through cracked glass. Seeing through children's eyes sharpens ours once more and we enjoy that.

Something I love about children:

Their sweet laughter -- the giggles of babies as they delight in something that catches their fancy; the laughter on the breeze as children play in the playground. And the screams of joy as they swing higher and higher.

Their curiosity and their ability to give us adults another chance at seeing life through innocent eyes.

I always look forward to the questions you pose at the end of your posts. They give us a chance to ponder before we respond.

Wishing you a beautiful day, Susan!

I love their wide-eyed wonder and delightful laughs. I taught for 39 years and did fifteen years of summer day camps. Love kids!

I know it makes you smile to see the joy the little ones receive decorating your door and windows. My great niece in Indiana often decorates my sister's windows for the various holidays. My sister also has a large wall that they display their colored Bible verses on.
