How Sweet It Is

Hello darling blog peeps.

Guess what time of year it is for some New Englanders?

It's maple syrup time!

Yup.  One can spot buckets as well as long tubes that go from tree to tree into the woods.

All the luscious sap is being collected, then boiled down to that delectable liquid...maple syrup.

Doesn't it make you want to cook up a batch of yummy pancakes and cover them in real syrup?

Once you taste the real thing, store bought fake syrup in a bottle will never again be on your shopping list.

Photos in today's post were taken at a sugar house in Western Massachusetts.

DO YOU LOVE MAPLE SYRUP?

You know, I love maple syrup, but it has too much sugar, so I just tend to put a bit of jam on my pancakes. But there's nothing like pancakes with a dab of butter and maple syrup. The sugar house sounds charming, Susan. It sounds like a nice place to visit. Lovely photos on your post today.

Not a fan of maple syrup at all. I like confectionary sugar on my pancakes. You enjoy it Susan.
