It is getting quite long.
The yearning to just get up and go wherever wanted is gaining strength.
One day this week, hubs and I simply had to get out of the house so off we went for a mini-walk in the woods.
Like a visitor to a city, whose camera is aimed upward toward skyscrapers, my own camera zooms up into trees.
Can you imagine me stretching my neck up toward the very tall branches?
Trees are such glorious gifts to all of us from Mother Nature.
Where there is a will for a few moments of freedom, far away from the threat of coronavirus, there is a way, even during pandemics.
Some more treasures we found on our mini-excursion will be shown in different posts so this one won't get too long.
So, if interested, come on back another day and please, stay safe.
DO YOU TAKE MINI-BREAKS IN NATURE DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME? IF YES, WHERE DO YOU GO?

What wonderful trees on your walk in the woods, Susan. And such tall ones! Yes, nature is beautiful, and I have to visit it often to stay grounded. So glad you got out and explored this week. Can't wait to see what other surprises you found along the way. : )

I am glad you got out too - I think fresh air is healing and so is the beauty around you. sandie♥
There is nothing like getting out in nature to restore our souls is there. We are so blessed to live on a lake in Michigan. Our front view is the lake and the back view is a forest which is owned by the state. I've been vacationing on this lake for 56 years and 3 years ago we built our retirement home here. We are so blessed.
What great trees photos, Susan. You see the splendour and magnificence of those trees in them.
Yes, I like going to walks in nature, through woodsy areas, by ponds filled with water birds, sitting in the garden on a sunny afternoon (it's grey here today). It all helps to fill the well of the soul.
Wishing you a beautiful weekend, Susan.
