Among her many talents, my cousin, Marianne, has a green thumb.
Plants prosper under her tender care.
She's also a wonderful interior decorator.
She had a lovely tea gathering recently.
If you missed it, you can see it by clicking here and here.
I love going to her house because it's always beautifully decorated.
This past get together that we had, I admired a truly stunning cyclamen plant.
Pink, of course, is my favorite color.
She had two little love birds nearby and they were old and dear to her heart, for sure.
Who cares if a decorative piece isn't perfect?
If it makes a person smile and evokes memories of how it was obtained, that's all that really counts, right?
WHAT, IF ANYTHING, DO YOU KNOW ABOUT CYCLAMENS? CAN YOU SHARE WITH US?

The two little love birds are cute as ever, Susan. Even with a chip, they are darling. They must have special meaning to her. It has been nice to see your cousin's house decorated with so many lovely things.
Have a good rest of the week. I went to a Chinese restaurant today, and it was so good. It's been two years since I've had Chinese food and really missed it.

I do not know anything about that pretty pink plant. I do not have a green thumb at all. Most of my plants in my house are artificial.
I saw those exact birds att he thrift shop yesterday. I live those flowers. if ONLY I had a green thumb. I admire those who can keep plants indoors. How are you doing?
