A "Beary" Happy Valentine's Gift
Valentine's Day is right around the corner.
One year, my husband gave me two stuffed bear lovers, holding a bag of candy hearts. They are the sweetest things and one of the most thoughtful gifts I ever received because they came right from his heart.
There's even a cord one pulls that makes the little bears shake and kiss. One cannot help but get a chuckle out of them.
The bag of candy hearts remains unopened.
The bears are shown in a handpainted mirror that adds a splash of color to a home office. It was painted by a talented one-stroke artist.
Do you like bears? Do you know anyone who has a collection of them?

I have a darling birthday bear that dances and sings the Beatles version of Happy Birthday. My daughter gave it to me over 12 years ago and I keep it in my classroom. The children LOVE holding it when they have a birthday.xo
What a sweet hubby! The bears are adorable!
I have a few bears...I used to have many more, but had to give some away to make room for more collections. I put a lot of bears out at Christmas time.
Have a wonderful Valentine's Day with your loving husband.
ANDREA
Hi Di! Your bear sounds adorable. I'll bet the children do, indeed, love it. Have a fun weekend! Sincerely, Susan
Hi Andrea. I hope YOU have a great Valentine's Day, too, with your sweetheart! Wish I had a little table and chairs to put bears around. Could use it for dolls, too. Take care and have a fun weekend. Sincerely, Susan
The bears are sweet, but the mirror and the flowers - are the flowers painted on the wall? Gorgeous! Sandie
Hi Sandie! No, the flowers are just on the mirror frame. Thanks for your sweet comment. Sincerely, Susan
Your bears are precious. And you are certainly blessed to have such a talented friend. The mirror here and the glass pieces in the previous post are all so well-done. I would love to step inside your front door! You have so many "pretties"!
BTW, I lead the hymn sings from the piano. They clip a little microphone on my collar. Another lady lines up the musicians for every Friday morning. I take my turn about once a month. Sometimes more.
Oh, Rebecca. The hymn sing sounds great. So you play piano, too! Woman of many talents! Take care and I hope you have a wonderful Satuday. Sincerely, Susan
What a precious pair of bears! So sweet of your husband to pick something so cute just for his sweetheart! Wishing you a special day tomorrow with your love!
Kindly, ldh
Hi ldh! Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a great day, too! Sincerely, Susan
