The Book Giveaway to celebrate the 100 Follower of this blog has been EXTENDED until Tuesday night instead of Monday.  Only a handful of people signed up today so I thought I'd give it another 24 hours. Is that okay with everybody?

Please leave your favorite book title in today's comment section, what it's about, and why you loved it.

This is how the original post read. Only the END of the Giveaway has been changed!

Okay sweet blogger friends.  This is it! There's going to be a Book Giveaway to celebrate the 100th Follower  milestone of this blog and anyone can participate.  I was so excited to check my blog on Sunday and see that Gwendolyn became the 100th Follower.

Those of you who have your own blogs know how hot ziggedy exciting that is to a blogger. All the writing, photography, spell checking, and posting become so worth it when people choose to Follow a blog. It reenforces how awesome blogland can be for a writer.

Since most of us are writers and avid readers, the Giveaway is going to be exclusively books!

Granted, most are not new books but who cares?  Most readers love all books, new and used. Just think, all of the books shown could be YOURS, sooner than later!

All you have to do to be entered in the giveaway is make a comment at the end of this post stating the title of your favorite book, a little information on what it's about, and why you loved it.

You do NOT  have to be a follower of the blog to be included. You just have to love reading and have a favorite book  title to share. Sweet and simple, eh?

Okay fellow bloggers and blog readers? Participation in this giveaway will last only through 9 p.m. TUESDAY night, June 16th. Then, all the names will be put into a hat and the winner will be drawn and announced TUESDAY night after 9. Fair enough?

Good luck!  (Check out the list of books to be included in the Giveaway in the sidebar to the right.)

Congrats on 100 followers! You have such a great blog I am sure you will have 100 more before you know it. I think one of my all time favorite books is REDEEMING LOVE by Francine Rivers. It had such a huge impact on me and how to love those who are unlovable. God continues to love us even when we don't love him back and never gives up on us!

Hi Susan -

Congrats! 100 Followers is a huge milestone for a blogger. :)

It's hard to pick a favorite book. I love historical fiction. For today, I'll choose, "The Heart Remembers," by Kim Vogel Sawyer.

Please enter me in the drawing.

Hey! congratulations! It is really exciting when someone "follows" you; your feel accepted wouldn't you say? I love all those that come and read my nonsense, and what I have to share about my country, which is probably the most exciting. Very few know about this wonderful corner in the world that, despite its problems (as many other countries surely also have), it is a great place, and one worth sharing with the world.
Here's for many more followers of your blog!
have a lovely day.

Oh gosh! this is a pretty tough question Susan!

before I get into it...
let me congratulate you on your happy 100! my favourite...i'm going to say is the one that left the biggest impression on me as a young girl...and that was Anne of Green Lucy Maud Montgomery!
I just loved Anne's spirit, her zest for life, and her interest in writing and learning and excelling at school.
It actually influenced me to be more studious...reaching the top marks of all my classes as well....basically only Gilbert and the Red hair was the time! hehe

it was and still is, my favourite read, and I cannot wait to share this with my daughter and read it together!

please enter me, i love books, i love reading them, and even sniffing the pages! the inky / pulpy scent sets me all aflutter! hehe

ciao bella
thanks for stopping in to see me as well!
i have recharged this weekend and now I'm fully charged and creatively raring to go!

come by when you can!

Hi Susan: I am so happy for you. 100 followers, wow! Good job! I am sorry you can't be a part of TT, but I am sure you will find one soon and be back at the party. I really would love to win your give away. As you know, I love books. My favorite is "The Shack". It is the story of a man who had a great loss and how the Lord met him in his darkest hour. I loved it, Jesus to the rescue! Thanks for letting be a part of your life. It has been a joy getting to know you. Blessings, Martha

Hi Susan! Well, maybe the 3rd Time is the the saying goes! I'm so sorry to be so "duh" today! All I can say's Monday...and I "skimmed" your instructions, instead of "reading" them! My apologies! Please delete my other two comments, ok?!
Hmmm...gosh, it is SO hard to choose just one many have affected me in so many different ways over the years. Looking back, one of my favorites as a young teen, would have to be Raintree County. It was a huge paperback, and I decided to make it my goal to read the entire book during that summer, and of course, I did! It was one of the first books that I couldn't put down! Thanks for the contest and congrats again on your 100 Followers!! I'm glad to be one of them!! :)

Hey Susan! My cousin Gwen is your 100th follower. :) She's the one who forced, I mean ENCOURAGED me to blog. Ha! Actually, she made me do it and told me to give it a month and if I didn't like it, I could quit. Well, here I am nearly a year later.

I passed 100 followers but didn't have a giveaway as mailing anything from this side of the world is iffy. I thought I would wait and maybe have a giveaway while I am in the States.

My favorite book would be the Sara Ban Breathnach. I have the first one and tend to bring it out nearly every year and just start reading from whatever date I pull it out. Always has some meaning and is an encouragement for the day. I also have many of Richard Carlson's books. I like to read inspiring messages that are short and sweet.

Loved your rooster swap -- what a fabulous gift indeed. So pretty and colorful. And your ride around the New England countryside was gorgeous.

Best wishes to you for a Terrific Tuesday. Blessings, Tammy
