Country Store Delights All the Senses

Even though I've been trying  to keep impulsive purchases down to a bare bones minimum,  shopping is still fun.

A new country store opened within driving distance and, wow, they offered an astounding variety of merchandise. There was a little bit of something for everyone.

Some of the signs on hand were absolutely delightful. Even though buying them wouldn't be an option, they were good for some chuckles. For example:

Or how about this?  (Could this describe your house?)

These tablecloths from Vermont looked very homey. And how about those cute heart-shaped rugs, hanging on the wall?

Oooooo. There were candles in every imagineable color, shape, and scent.

Jams and jellies everyone?

Would you care for some tea in a variety of flavors?

Here are kitchen towels for dog lovers as well as for musicians:

Always loved peacock feathers. Once, I even had a pair of peacock feathered earrings.

Will share more of this country store contents another day.  (Hope it's not boring for you.)

The store, by the way, is called Berkshire Mountain Country Store and it's located in a small town in Western Massachusetts.

I just need to retire and come visit New England. A leaf peeper trip is on my bucket list.

This store looks like so much fun to browse! I love little country stores... It's so hard to find them now... and this one? I'd spend an hour just looking at the teas!

Awesome Store and you do what I do - borrow!

We do have a man cave - his basement - full of radio controlled planes.

And if I had unlimited money to shop - I'd be thin!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love, sandie
