Solitary Beauty

Sometimes Mother Nature plays tricks on us.

This happened recently in New England.  Instead of cool, crisp temperatures, deep blue skies, and golden sunshine, we got whammed with a gargantuan snowstorm.

Nobody was ready to say bye bye to autumn and hello to winter but there was no choice.

Still, as the snow fell in furious fashion, Mother Nature transformed everything around us into exquisite beauty.

One just had to look at the "snowy" lining in order to find it.

The tree, shown above, had been dressed in her finest golden leafy dress. During the snowstorm, each leaf got a snowy frosting.  The result defies description in words.

One must simply look for the spectacular in the simple and it will be found.

WHAT'S THE LAST TREAT FOR THE EYES YOU EXPERIENCED?

Gorgeous photo! The last treat for my eyes was watching a video of my grandson Tiger trying to crawl. I miss him so much! He looked at the camera and gave a smile that made me so happy to see. Helps to ease the pain of all things right now. hugs, Linda

After the dense fog of the morning the brilliant sunshine stirred my heart...what a treat it was not only for my eyes but for the wonderful warmth.

Beautiful capture of fall and winter; looks so quiet and serene in your picture--makes me want a cup of hot tea and a cozy blanket.

Beautiful image Susan. I can't even imagine how cold it must be there. I'm sitting here in a sleeveless shirt with the backdoor wide open. The most beautiful sight that warmed my heart today ... I'll blog about tomorrow. Good news! Best wishes and blessings, Tammy

Morning, ew! how on Earth do you deal with snow and cold? Your photo is excellent but that weather is not for me.
Forgive me for being slow to respond about making an ebook.
On my Australian blog I wrote a piece on how to do it. We have to pay for storage and so I had deleted it, however I did have a back up copy, somewhere. Can not find it, drat!
ebooks are mostly text, they can be photos, though the use of photos can cause problems.
I think reading takes a lot of time as a way to explain, so google youtube how to make an ebook video and watch those. It is easy. Amazon is only one site that you could upload too. I will keep looking for the written text about it for you. It is spring here. Summer is coming and truly, I do not know how you deal with the cold. brrrrr.

Solitary Beauty...what a perfect title for this post. No, I am not ready either. I dread winter and fear the next spring here!!! Could we stop the weather right where it is here now????
