A beautiful and enlightening blog post my friend!
Love ya,
Linda
Sometimes a nice log in the fireplace!
Love the Santa...this year I bought more battery candles with timers. I have them all set to come on at dusk. It is nice not to have to worry about the flames and just a pretty. For fragrance I still burn a real candle...one at a time in the room I am in...Light is the word this year!
Hi Susan,
Holiday dinners MUST flicker with many candles.
(Our power went out during our Thanksgiving dinner)
We didn't mind at all.
*hugs*

I think candle light is magical, but I much prefer it when the electricity isn't off because of a storm! A few years ago, we lost power for 9 days and even with every room lit with candles, it was so dark outside, I couldn't read, knit or do my crossword puzzles. I love your lit Father Christmas; he does have a "glow" about him that is so welcoming. XOXO
I bring light into my life each morning when I do my daily devotions. There is NO substitute for the TRUE Light, which lights the whole world with His love! I do enjoy the romance and quietness of a candlelit room occasionally, just for the lovely, peaceful atmosphere.
Hi Susan
"Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."
Just popping by to let you know that you won the copy of "A Christmas Home" from my giveaway.
E-mail me your address and I'll try to get it in the mail this week.
Congrats!
Leann
Candlelight gives such a lovely touch to a room. Remembering the true reason for this special season brings light into MY life!
Congratulations to you on your win of a book from Leann's blog!
I can have real candles here because I have an 11 year old here. LOL. But I have lots of candles that you turn on from the bottom and they light up.
I hope you had a nice weekend. sandie
Candle light, lamplight, and now...Christmas lights!
I figured out a few months ago that we are attracted to light because it is but a dim reflection of His Light!
Your Father Christmas is sooooo cute!! Love the lights...
Hugs,
Deb
