Candlelight is beautiful any time of the year but especially at Christmas. I like to burn scented candles that make any room smell wonderful. In one room downstairs, the Father Christmas figure shown at the top of this post sits on a counter. Light from a tea light inside pours through the stars in his white coat. Light pours from another Father, as well--- our Heavenly Father.
In one song we've often sung at church, the words dance in my head:
"He is the light of the world, let Him shine down upon us..." This holiday season, amid the hustle and the bustle, let's take time to feel His light pouring down upon us, filling us with unparalleled peace, serenity and love.
