A Glorious Holiday for the Good Ol' USA!

May this Fourth of July holiday find you happy and sharing with beloved friends and family.

I am very, very grateful to all my blog peeps.

Your visits are so welcome.

Your comments are deeply appreciated.

I  love to turn on my computer and find out who visited.

Your visits to my posts make me feel so special. I mean, there are tens of thousands of blogs out there that you could visit.

So I feel honored when you come to visit Writing Straight from the Heart.

Tonight, when the firecrackers boom in the night sky, I'll be thinking of you!

Happy Fourth of July to blog peeps throughout the USA and across the globe.

How wonderful it is to live in a land of freedom.

Happy Independence Day to you, Susan! Here in E TN, we're expecting a major rain event for most of the day, so I plan to stay inside and watch some of the festivities on TV. Our local symphony orchestra will be presenting a wonderful concert, as they have a covered area in which to perform, and a local TV station will be covering the entire program. We'll set the DVR and then enjoy it when we have time. The town of Gatlinburg prides itself on having the first parade in the nation, starting at midnight EDT, and it is being livestreamed on the computer now, but I just can't stay up for the whole thing! I hope your celebration will bring your family together to enjoy lots of great food and fellowship. God has blessed the USA, and my prayer is that our great nation will once again bless Him! :-)
