It's a bright and sunny Sunday but temps are very chilly.
There're predictions of yet another snowy storm but they don't bother me.
It's winter in New England, after all.
So today, this first day of February, I just want you, dear reader, to know that my wishes are for you to have a gentle, happy and peaceful day.
Cherish the company of those you love.
Find something to smile about.
Enjoy each bite of food, each sound of laughter and each moment of life that comes your way today.
Getting older definitely has its advantages.
One of them is to appreciate just being alive!
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR THIS SUNDAY?

Hi Susan,
I always love your posts, they are short and sweet and are always so encouraging and inspiring. May we live each day to the fullest.
God bless you my friend for always shining in His light.
Happy February!
Gina
Hey I wish you the same thing. We have some busywork to do for awhile, but then it is Superbowl Sunday!
It's Super Bowl, but kick off to me means a new month of writing. I just submitted to a big name magazine. We'll see. Have a wonderful day. My friend lives in NH and is getting hammered with more snow. Soup, warm bread and a sweet treat...that's what I crave in snow.
A regular school day around here and then had to run after school to buy Zack new shoes, home to cook him something quick for lunch and then out the door I went for a walk. I didn't get out at all over the weekend, so took advantage of today's gorgeous weather. Easier for me to get up and go when I've already been out and about. :) Hope your day is a good one. Best wishes, Tammy
I'm off to a see a musical play with some very good friends . That always brings a smile to my face...love those sort of things. Gorgeous 77 degree day here and plenty of sunshine.
Hope you are enjoying a gentle Sunday too. The sunny skies have been a plus, but I see the clouds moving in as I write. Yes, it is winter here in New England and I love the snow so I'm all set. If you want to hear a delightful song about winter go to you tube and listen to Francesca Battistelli singing "It's a Marshmallow world in the Winter."
Just got back from a delightful lunch; enjoyed the ride to and from Williamstown. Time for a little nap now and then a walk in the woods before the dusk settles in. Tomorrow should be a good day to stay inside and paint the bathroom!
Lovely!
Thank you, dear Susan, for the reminder of being grateful. Your tree pictures are beautiful. Oh, how I wish it would snow here. It's supposed to rain this weekend, and we surely need the rain.
love, ~me
