A sweet white angel statue has provided a calming presence in our back yard for several years.
It's heavy and remains outdoors all through the rather brutal winters.
The angel, on the other hand, along with all the other yard statuary, spends winters on the chilly but enclosed side porch.
So far so good. The mirror has survived a couple of New England winters so it bravely remains outdoors on the fence.
Some of the faux greenery near the mirror is new since the old plants really showed signs of wear and needed to be replaced.
There are living plants near the mirror and angel, too.
Little angel also got a sudsy bleach bath to make her whiter than the driven snow of winter!
Maybe the angel's heavenly counterpart visits, too, because the backyard is a peaceful place.
