Bakery in Miniature

Look at the fabulous dollhouse-sized bakery, above and below.

Best part is all the luscious treats shown have no calories at all!

The bakery is displayed in the Dollhouse and Toy Museum of Vermont in Bennington.

What joy it is to peak into all the fabulous dollhouses displayed there.

Jackie Marro, a personable and knowledgeable miniaturist, opened the museum about five years ago.

Visitors are even given flashlights so they don't miss a single detail in the sometimes darker corners of houses.

Making a dollhouse art gallery has been on my bucket list for some time so you can imagine what a thrill it was to see the one shown in this post.

Oh Susan, this doll house bakery is darling. I love the white table and chairs and all the goodies and the server. And look at these miniature framed pictures on the wall! One of them looks familiar to me. : ) Such a cute post, Susan. I enjoyed it.

*to answer your question.....the scene I'd love to see in miniature is maybe a children's room. Wouldn't my grandchildren love that?

Love all the little miniatures from the museum. Your bakery is just as nice Susan that you made yourself.
